Best of Show in Suzuka and Salvarola Terme for Ferrari Classiche
Maranello, 20 March – A successful weekend with prizes for the cars cared for by the Ferrari Classiche department in Maranello, awarded in Japan and Italy.
On the occasion of the first Ferrari Racing Days of Japan, held in Suzuka last weekend, the visitors were able to admire some exceptional models, who wrote the history of the Prancing Horse, reunited in a special Concours’ d’Elegance promoted in collaboration with the luxury watchmaker Hublot.
The queen of the event in Japan was the 1961 250 GT SWB – recently restored and certified by the Ferrari Classiche department – which was awarded the “Best of Show”, next to the 1968 Dino 206 GT, which received the special award for the best restoration.
At the same weekend another Ferrari, restored and certified by the garage with its headquarters at the Works in Maranello, received the “Best of Show” at the 13th Concours d’Elegance for historical cars at the Trofeo Salvarola Terme. The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Spider California from Claudio Caggiati was awarded the well-deserved prize at the end of a parade on the roads in the province of Modena with thousands of enthusiastic spectators lining the streets.
