Ferrari at Bathurst 12 Hour
GT & Sport Cars
Ferrari guests recently enjoyed an exclusive weekend of entertainment and glamping at the spectacular heritage homestead, Abercrombie House, during the Bathurst 12 Hour weekend of racing.
Built in the 1870s, this spectacular private residence with its gardens populated by peacocks and Australian wildlife was a world away from the bustle and roar of the Bathurst racetrack. This contrast made it the perfect escape and backdrop for guests to enjoy great food and wine, and entertainment that included a private screening of the original version of the film ‘The Italian Job’ from 1969 and live musical performances from Bobby Valentine, Marty Rose and Nina Ferro.
Back at the track, Ferrari was proud to be the featured marque at the 2017 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour. On display in the purpose build ‘Ferrari Clubhouse’ display were a LaFerrari, a 488 Spider and the new GTC4 Lusso T alongside some of the most collectible Ferraris of all time including an F40, 599GTO and F12tdf. There was even something for Ferrari’s smallest fans with kids face painting and Ferrari mock tattoos.
Amongst the weekend of on-track activity, Ferrari’s iconic LaFerrari took to the track at Mount Panorama circuit alongside another spectacular limited edition Ferrari, the F12tdf. To cap off the spectacular track displays, Maranello Motorsport’s Ferrari 488GT3 driven by Toni Vilander, Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes took out top spot on the podium for the race itself.
This uniquely Ferrari event gave our clients a truly memorable opportunity to experience the magic of Mount Panorama circuit with their vehicles, and to enjoy the area surrounding Bathurst over the weekend of one of Australia’s fastest growing events.
