Ferrari celebrates its racing heritage in Australia at the LIQUI-MOLY Bathurst 12 Hours

GT & Sport Cars

The 2016 LIQUI-MOLY Bathurst 12 hour will be coloured red this weekend, thanks to the arrival of a strong field of classic and modern Ferrari models planned in Bathurst.

The all new Ferrari 488 Spider will be on public display for the first time ever in Australia, while its coupe counterpart the, 488 GTB, will take to the famous track at Bathurst for a series of dynamic displays.

A significant Ferrari presence will feature at Australia’s International Endurance race, with Ferrari’s Australian customers encouraged to participate in on and off the track activities as two Ferrari GT teams – Maranello Motorsport and Viscious Rumour Racing – tackle the Liqui-Moly 12 Hour race itself. Former Ferrari F1 driver, Mika Salo, and current Ferrari factory GT driver, Toni Vilander, are both racing for these Ferrari customer teams. Ferrari already has a strong association with the event thanks to the stirring victory in 2014 by Melbourne Ferrari team, Maranello Motorsport.

A Ferrari parade will display laps on the famous circuit during the event itself. A display of classic and contemporary Ferrari models – including the brand new Ferrari 488 Spider, 488 GTB, F12, and California T – will be open to fans across the Bathurst 12 Hour weekend.

Corporate hospitality opportunities will also be available to Ferrari customers and their guests across the weekend, with the ‘Ferrari Suite’ trackside for the duration of the weekend.
