The new MEF uniforms designed with local students are unveiled
Modena, 6th June 2014
Ferrari’s new museum staff uniforms were unveiled this morning at the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena. The designs are the fruit of a collaboration between Ferrari and the Vallauri and Cattaneo-Deledda Institutes which are based in Carpi and Modena respectively. Both schools run highly-regarded fashion courses and Ferrari chose their students to develop the new uniforms from the creative idea stage to the final finished product.
The students worked under the guidance of the highly-experienced designer, Carlo Barbieri. At Carpi, both male and female fourth-year students developed the women’s uniform, choosing the fabrics and colour combinations to create a very wearable, contemporary look. The same care was lavished on the men’s uniform by the female students from the Cattaneo-Deledda Institute.
