The Ferrari Challenge is an ever-youthful championship, fresh and full of energy, a series which over the course of its 22 years has known how to renew itself regularly, to become ever more interesting.
That renewal has extended to the evolution of the cars used. This season, in all three Ferrari Challenge series, the 458 Challenge Evo will be used, fitted with an aerodynamic kit that has improved performance still further.
The car still uses the 4.5 litre V8 engine, which develops 570 horsepower, while featuring various updates that improve driveability and road holding. There is also a new front splitter and a revised floor; devices that have allowed the Ferrari engineers to adopt stiffer front springs and to also improve the braking system.
It is therefore a high performance racing machine, capable of bringing out the quality of the drivers and which lends itself to being used to the maximum on all types of track, producing breathtaking duels and on the limit racing, like no other car previously used in the Ferrari one-make series.
