Massa opens the Ferrari Store in Kuwait City
Felipe Massa was the guest of honour at the opening ceremony for the first Ferrari Store in Kuwait. The Scuderia Ferrari driver made the trip from Abu Dhabi where he finished eighth in yesterday’s third from last round of the Formula 1 World Championship. He turned up at the Store on Avenues Mall at the wheel of a 458 Spider, followed by a procession of over a hundred Ferrari cars that had driven through the city.
Felipe cut the ribbon along with the Director of Brand Ferrari, Andrea Perrone and the Vicepresident of Wahran Trading, Abdul Aziz.
Opened back in May, the Kuwait City Store covers an area of 200 square metres and offers the full range of Ferrari products, from those aimed at fans of the Scuderia to the most elegant and exclusive items of the Cavallino collection, as well as games, models and items of clothing for youngsters and Formula 1 memorabilia.
The Kuwait City Ferrari Store is the sixth in the Persian Gulf area and is managed as a franchise by Al Fahim Enterprises LLC. There are now over 50 Prancing Horse shops in the world, in the heart of the most important cities, including New York, Milan, Johannesburg, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Singapre and San Francisco.
