Ferrari’s exclusive Ferrari Genuine aftermarket programme offers a huge choice of details, accessories and kits conceived and manufactured specifically for cars bearing the Prancing Horse motif.
The possibility to assess your performance, correct errors and improve is essential if you want to drive like a professional. With Datarace, drivers can also film their performance on the track, and stay up-to-date with the parameters of their vehicle. With the CAN version, a dashboard which displays lap times and acts as a data logger is included, so users can capture and display data directly from the vehicle ECU. The format is inspired by that used during Formula One GP races, and allows drivers to view the acceleration, engine speed, the track map, lap time and position via GPS.
The Ferrari Genuine multi-spoke wheel rims are made to the original 18″ measurements. This solution ensures that the vehicle configuration remains within the original design specifications for tyres, which is an indispensable prerequisite for safety and for the correct functionality of the ABS system. From a style perspective, the new wheel rims complement the harmony of the design of the vehicle perfectly and further emphasise its sporty character.
Included with the set of wheels is a free kit including a nano-technology treatment, protecting the windscreen and ensuring maximum visibility even during track sessions in extreme weather conditions, and shielding the wheels from the dust generated by the brake pads.
Cornering speed is the key to winning lap times. The function of the rear wing is to create downforce (conduct the air in such a way as to create a load/weight on the surface of the wing) in order to keep the car “flattened” to the ground. Inspired by the Ferrari Challenge, the rear wing allows for delayed braking, keeping the car on-track and precisely positioned when entering a corner, and increasing effective engine power due to the aerodynamic load.
This product is not approved for on-road use, and is specifically intended for track driving.
