Tuscany plays host to the Ferrari Cavalcade
Florence, June 27th – The second edition of the Ferrari Cavalcade, which brings together some of the Prancing Horse’s most dedicated client- collectors and their cars, got underway today. Around 90 stunning Ferraris will wind their way along the uniquely fascinating highways and byways of the beautiful region of Tuscany on a tour as exhilarating to spectators as to their drivers.
The Cavalcade is divided into three stages, each one with a different theme. Today, for example, the theme is art so the route takes participants from Florence to Volterra and then on to Bolgheri before the return leg to the city of the Medicis with a call to San Gimignano also.
The Cavalcade’s participants hail from 30 nations spread over four continents, including New Zealand, the United States, India, Finland, Puerto Rico and Lebanon. The Ferraris taking part include iconic models, such as the Enzo and the F40, and special limited edition series of the likes of the SA Aperta and the 599 GTO. But, of course, as usual, it’s impossible to pick out which of the fleet is the most stunning.
