Great success for “Mito Ferrari” exhibition in Shanghai

Maranello, 22 May 2012 – The “Mito Ferrari” exhibition, inaugurated last Friday and open for the coming three years at the Shanghai Expo Park’s Italian Center, immediately drew great interest amongst the Chinese with numerous visitors in the 900-square-metre big exhibition hall divided into five sections: Ferrari in China, Green Technology, Product, Design and Racing.

For the manufacturer from Maranello it is the first time organising such a big and long-lasting exhibition outside of Italy. The exhibition, which will continuously be updated, is the perfect introduction to the past, present and future of the Prancing Horse, concentrating on the elements, which turn Ferrari into a unique reality, paying attention to challenges such as reducing consumption and emissions.

The texts, photos, films and objects of great value and all items on loan from the Museo Ferrari in Maranello, enable the visitors to get an idea of the Company’s vast tradition. At the centre of the exhibition space visitors find five cars, which have been chosen for their extraordinary significance: the first Ferrari, which touched Chinese ground, the 348 TS; a 275 GTB4; a 365 GTB4 “Daytona”, the sport prototype 750 Monza and an FF, the first four-by-four four-seater from the Prancing Horse.
