One more reason to visit Maranello

There is the Ferrari museum, remembering Enzo Ferrari 25 years after his death, collecting the thoughts of visitors. And now there is a new bronze monument by Swiss artist Franco Carloni, presented this morning at the “Enzo Ferrari Park” close to the city hall.

The founder’s son Piero Ferrari, Maranello’s mayoress Lucia Bursi, regional minister of tourism and commerce in Emilia Romagna Maurizio Melucci and the Head of the museum Antonio Ghini underlined during the ceremony how Maranello turned into a point of reference for tourism in Italy, because of the Works but also thanks to the attractive city itself and the gastronomy it has to offer.

The bronze sculpture, as art critique Daniele Crippa said, recalls in its symbolic approach the great works of Henry Moore, embracing a series of details expressing the courageous and extraordinary life of a man, who transformed his name into the strongest car brand in the world.
